Project development
Earlier this month, DCMS launched the Online Safety Data Initiative (OSDI) - a 15-month project designed to test methodologies to facilitate better access to higher quality data to support the development of technology to identify and remove harmful and illegal content from the internet.
DCMS has awarded a consortium of suppliers to deliver the Online Safety Data Initiative. This initiative will work to improve the accuracy of online safety technologies by removing existing barriers around the sharing of online harms data and improving the quality of data accessed.
As we continue the work of the Online Safety Data Initiative (OSDI), where we support the development of technology to identify and remove harmful and illegal content from the internet, we would like to share our latest progress update.
